The best way to give back to your institution as an active member of its alumni, is by working there. Rajvardhan Singh, our student of 2013 batch, came to DPS to teach English. This was organized by the Alumni Committee with the aim of encouraging and fostering the talent of teaching and providing an opportunity to interact with the current students. Raj’s explanation of the reader, was a pleasure to listen to with perfectly structured sentences. All were impressed at how seamlessly he had explained the characters and the complexities. He captured the moral and the theme accurately. He conducted a small activity with a few simple props to make the lesson interactive and interesting. At the end of the lesson, he had an interactive question and answer session, tackled confidently and with poise. Overall, this was a great experience for alumnus Raj and the students. This activity opened a door to the other alumni of the school to get involved and inculcate a bond between them and the current students.
