Ms Shreyasi Bhowmik, an alumnus of DPS Modern Indian School from batch 2010, addressed the students on Sunday, 24th April 2022, on the topic – Sound Of The Waves: A Dive Into The World Of Engineering via zoom. The speech was a part of the ‘AlumniTalk Series’, a platform that connects the alumni with the alma mater and was attended by 200 students.
Ms. Shreyasi did her graduation from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, where she gained a degree in Electrical Engineering in ‘ Electro- physics ‘, she then did her masters in KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Currently, she is working as the Team Leader of Antenna Designers in Ericsson, Stockholm.
Ms. Shreyasi shared her journey with the students encouraging them to follow their dreams and exposing them to the realities of life. Making every student realise that one has to work hard throughout the journey to reach great heights. The focus of her presentation was to share her knowledge and experience in the world of engineering and expose the students to how the world of engineering truly works.
The session was joined by the Principal Ms Asna Nafees and a convoy of coordinators and teachers. On the whole, it was an inspiring and educational session attended by students of grades IX-XII.
