DPS Modern Indian School proudly announces the successful completion of an internship programme by its alumna, Subalam Amulya. She performed as a school counselor at her alma mater. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, English, and Performing Arts-Carnatic Music (BA PEP) at Christ University, Bengaluru, India.
The school takes immense pride in offering a robust platform to its alumni through the ‘Teaching Internship Programme.’ This program not only allows them to give back to their alma mater but also serves as an invaluable source of inspiration for the current students, demonstrating the vast potential and opportunities that await them post-graduation.
Amulya, with her keen interest in psychology and counseling, engaged with students during her internship, demonstrating exceptional skills and dedication. She utilized her expertise in the primary section of the school from September 10 to September 21, 2023 under the guidance and mentorship of the Vice-Principal, Ms. Shiefa Shaikh, and the school counselor, Ms. Melbin Siji and the Alumni Coordinator, Ms. Jaya Majumder. The team provided crucial support, ensuring a successful and enriching experience for Amulya and the school community.
