Vatsal Patel, the Head Boy and school topper of Batch 2013, proved his love and loyalty to his alma mater when he contributed his time to enlighten the aspiring students of classes 11 and 12 on the admission procedures in the universities of the US. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate programme in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.
The video conference with Vatsal was an eye-opener about the US curriculum. A world of opportunities with the best faculty and resources, the universities let you pursue the subjects that interest you. Moreover, they let you get involved in clubs and organisations as your interests, schedule, and scholastic pursuits permit. His interaction threw light on the fact that scoring in the school exams is equally important as participating in extra-curricular activities. He made the students aware of the opportune moment to begin their preparations like writing the essays. He concluded by saying that the students could contact him for further guidance if needed.
