DPS-Modern Indian School provides a platform to its alumni through “Teaching Internship Programme” which assists them in rendering service to their alma mater and help them to be a source of inspiration.
Kevin Joseph (an alumnus- Batch 2016), who is presently pursuing his graduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Chennai, completed his week-long “Teaching Internship Programme” from 19th to 27th December 2017 at the school.
He taught Science in Class IV and Class V. He had an extremely interactive and interesting session with the children. He conducted activities like “Science quiz” and conducted an assessment session in the form of class test. He delivered the lessons in an effective and comprehensive way for all the students and encouraged them to be involved in the lessons.
It was not only a wonderful experience for him but the first-hand experience also gave him an opportunity to consider teaching as a launching pad for his future career.
