The school administration and faculty warmly welcomed alumnus Lavany Pant (Batch 2020) back to the campus, acknowledging the value of his contributions to the students’ learning experiences. Currently, he is pursuing his graduation in ‘Electronics and Electrical Engineering’ at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, in the United Kingdom.
The school takes pride in providing a platform to its alumni through the ‘Teaching Internship Programme,’ which assists them in rendering service to their alma mater and serves as a source of inspiration. This initiative not only benefited the students but also inspired current students, showcasing the potential and opportunities that await them after graduation.
Lavany engaged with students and shared insights into the world of Physics by teaching the students of Class XI from September 4 to September 14, 2023. The Vice-Principals, HOD Physics, respective subject teachers, and the Alumni Coordinator guided him successfully.
Principal Ms. Asna Nafees expressed appreciation for Lavany’s commitment to education and the positive impact he made during his time as an intern. “Lavany’s return to DPS Modern Indian School is a testament to the strong bond that our school shares with its alumni. His dedication to teaching Physics left a lasting impression on both students and faculty,” she said.
