What will be the timings for the two shifts?
Morning Shift: 7:15 AM to 12:15 PM Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM The Ministry has also approved need-based working on Saturdays.
For which classes are admissions open and from which academic session?
Admissions for the Afternoon Shift are open for Classes I to VIII for the Academic Year 2026–27.
What will be the fee structure for the Afternoon School Shift?
The fee structure for the Afternoon Shift will remain the same as the Ministry-approved fees for the Morning Shift across all classes.
What will be the transport arrangements?
The school will provide dedicated transport arrangements for the afternoon shift separately from the morning shift.
Will there be any difference in the quality of education for the Afternoon Shift?
DPS-Modern Indian School maintains a high standard of holistic, student-centric education. The Afternoon Shift will follow the same curriculum and academic rigor, delivered by a qualified and experienced team of teachers
What about safety and security during the Afternoon Shift?
The school has a well-trained security team, and the entire campus is equipped with modern security systems to ensure the safety of all students.
Will there be any difference in the activities schedule for the Afternoon Shift?
The Afternoon Shift will follow the same activities schedule as the Morning Shift. Additionally, the Ministry has approved need-based Saturday working for add-on activities, similar to previous years.
Can students who are not currently in Qatar apply for registration?
Registration is available for students who have a valid Qatar ID (QID) at the time of the admission process.
Will my child move to morning shift in the future ?
Students in the afternoon shift will be moved to the morning shift on priority in one of the group schools like DPS MIS, DPS Monarch or DPS Millennium International School. This will be done in April 2027
