TEDx Youth@DPSMIS events are locally organized by passionate volunteers of DPS Modern Indian School by obtaining license from TED to create an event tailored to the community of Doha from 2015 onwards.

Net Zero Campaign
Net Zero campaign is cutting carbon emissions to a small amount of residual emissions that can be absorbed and durably stored by nature and other carbon dioxide removal measures, leaving zero in the atmosphere. DPS-Modern Indian School has partnered with NetZero programme to promote S.D. Goals.
Cisco Academy
DPS Modern Indian School signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Cisco Network Academy for Cisco Netacad Courses” for the students of Grades VI to XII. This was yet another initiative of DPS Modern Indian School towards its commitment to provide its learners with diverse learning opportunities and equip the students with the knowledge and skills required for a successful future. These certifications aligned courses, run by CISCO Networking Academy are one of the most in-demand courses in networking, cybersecurity, and programming. Through a comprehensive curriculum they expose the learners to various technologies and concepts, give them an opportunity to learn from industry-standard resources and furnish them with highly advanced IT skills. All the computer teachers of DPS-Modern Indian School are certified by CISCO Network Academy and are eligible to teach and certify students with world leading CISCO certifications.
Schools Olympic Program (SOP)
The Qatar Olympic Committee in partnership with Ministry of Education and Higher Education encourages the Schools Olympic Program (SOP). The School Olympic Program develops and promotes fitness and a healthy lifestyle by organizing multisport competitions among schools in Qatar ranging from 5 to 18 years of age. The sport seasons culminate in a celebration of achievement during the Girls and Boys Final which takes place in the Aspire Dome. GAAQ is a current member of the Schools Olympic Program.
